As it's an amazing service and shocked that you rely on donations only. Air ambulance has attended to some friend's of mine that have been in accidents previously. I think it's great what you do and would be amazing to try and raise as much as I can for a great cause!
Following a serious road traffic collision, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance provided my daughter with critical care at the scene and then airlifted her to Bristol Royal Childrens Hospital. Without the help of the Air Ambulance, the outcome for Esme may have been very different. We will be forever grateful to the Air Ambulance and hope that you will be able to sponsor me, my sister and my brother-in-law to lose weight and raise some funds for such a valuable service.
On the 7th of July 2024 I will be competing in the Frome Sprint Triathlon to raise funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. This is because they provided outstanding care for my mum following a farm accident. Their quick response and high-quality medical support were instrumental in her recovery. Now, I'm committed to giving back to ensure that this crucial service remains available for others in their time of need.
On Sunday 2nd June 2024 Esther Hussey at the young age of 81 completed a wing walk not only in celebration of her birthday but to also raise funds and awareness of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Last year Jack and his mates were doing as boys do and enjoying being out on their motor bikes. Unfortunately one of his mates came off and was seriously injured. The air ambulance were needed to get him to hospital fast. We believe their quick response and ability to perform vital medical treatment on scene helped save his mates life. Jacks friend has already completed his skydive for this amazing charity and on June 15th Jack will do his.
I am fundraising in memory of my grandfather who used this service in the closing moments of his life. Also while my friend’s mother was pregnant with him, she was airlifted to hospital after a car accident and due to Dorset and Somerset air ambulance both were mother and child were saved with no lasting effects.
