Your support enables us to save and improve thousands of patients’ lives. When patients are critically ill or injured, a key element in their survival is arriving at a hospital with the specialist expertise to enable immediate life-saving care. Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance plays a key role in this chain of survival as our clinical team stabilise patients whilst the aviation team enable vast distances to be travelled rapidly.

Each year we assist thousands of patients – Last year we were tasked to 2,909 missions. 1,397 of these were using our AW169 helicopter and critical care car and 1,512 were using our outreach cars to provide enhanced care.
