Please support us during Air Ambulance Week – we can’t save lives without you!

During Air Ambulance Week (4th - 10th September), we are asking you to support our life-saving work by donating £10 to our cause, enabling us to be there for critically ill or injured patients, today, tomorrow and in the future. You can do this as a one-off donation or set up a regular payment of your choice.

Why support us this Air Ambulance Week

Since March 2000, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has been there for critically ill and injured people when they need us the most. The enhanced skills of our team, specialist equipment and drugs that we carry, along with the speed of our response, can make the difference between life and death.

The service we provide for the local community is 95% funded by charitable giving; by people like you. Last year, we were tasked to 2,424 incidents, with each mission costing approximately £3,500.

Every pound that you help raise during Air Ambulance Week will make a big difference to patients lives.

How else can you support us?

  1. Join our Flight for Life Lottery
For just £5 a month, you can support our vital work whilst being in with the chance of winning up to £1,000 in our weekly draw! Our weekly Lottery players also get tickets into our annual Superdraw, where you can win up to £2,500! Join online here or by calling us: 01202 849530.

  2. Get your business involved
We are asking for local businesses to show their support on their social channels by actively supporting our charity and sharing the #AirAmbulanceWeek messages. You could even organise a bake-off or wear our colours (green/yellow) on a day to show your support.

  3. Consider leaving us a gift in your will
In the last year, gifts in wills funded over 450 of our life-saving missions, representing a wonderful, lasting legacy from our supporters. After providing for loved ones, please consider leaving a gift in your will to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

  4. Support us through your social channels
Get involved by simply following us on our socials and actively supporting our campaigns within your local community. Our main channels are Facebook and LinkedIn.
