News / Events News COVID-19 Update Our life-saving service continues to be fully operational for 19 hours every single day. However, the new lockdown period which starts today requires our charity staff to work from home where possible. That means that our offices in Wellington and Wimborne will only be staffed to deal with those aspects that cannot be home-based. If you have an enquiry and it cannot be not answered immediately, please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. During this lockdown period, we will cease the servicing of our collection boxes and any face-to-face fundraising, including door-to-door and venue canvassing for our Flight for Life Lottery and Regular Giving schemes. We will continue to be guided by the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising on these matters. We are still selling a selection of Christmas Cards, gifts and 2021 Diaries which can be viewed on our website. Orders can be placed over the phone, by email or via our online shop With no direct funding from the Government or the National Lottery, we rely on the generosity of the public to help us raise our operational costs of over £5 million a year.
