The COVID-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect for many charities across the UK with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income through fundraising events.

During these unprecedented times, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance continues to respond 19 hours per day with a critical care team to patients across our two counties, using our helicopter and critical care car.

We are humbled by the wonderful messages of support that we have received from those of you who were due to fundraise on our behalf but are no longer able to due to the current pandemic. Many of you have been in touch to ask how you can still do your bit to help during these difficult times and enable us to continue providing our life-saving service. Here's one fantastic way that you can help us!!

HOW CAN YOU HELP? Join the 2.6 Challenge on 26th April!

The #TwoPointSixChallenge is a national campaign that has been created to help support the UK’s charities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The challenge is suitable for all ages and abilities. Simply join in by taking part in an activity at home on Sunday 26th April, that involves the numbers 2.6 or 26 and raise or donate £26 (or any amount you can afford) to show your support to our critical care team. You could do an activity 26 times, for 26 minutes or for 2.6 miles. Whatever activity you choose, have fun and ensure that you follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.
