Here are our top 5 festive fundraising ideas to help you make a positive impact and spread cheer this year:

  1. Dedicate your Christmas lights to DSAA

Every year, the festive season fills our hearts with warmth and the streets with a magical glow. If you're one of those people whose house turns into a dazzling winter wonderland with Christmas lights, why not make it even more special this year? Consider dedicating your display to support your local life-saving crew at Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

By lighting up your house for DSAA, you're not only spreading the joy of the season but also raising awareness and much-needed funds for our life-saving missions. It's a brilliant way to join hands with your community and make a real difference during the holidays. Get ready to brighten up your neighbourhood and help us continue our vital work.

  2. Host a Mince Pie Morning

Get ready to savour the spirit of the season, one delicious bite at a time! Our Mince Pie Morning is all about bringing people together over a cup of tea or coffee and, of course, mouthwatering mince pies ... and don't forget the cream!

Gather your friends, family and colleagues for a little get-together or invite your whole street and make it a bigger event! By participating in our Mince Pie Morning, you're contributing to our mission of saving and enhancing lives. Your hot cuppa and sweet treat will help provide essential support to DSAA. Join us in making this holiday season a time for generosity and connection.

  3. Festive Fancy Dress Day

'Tis the season to don your most creative, quirky and festive attire! Our Festive Fancy Dress Day is all about embracing the Christmas spirit with a dash of imagination and a sprinkle of merriness.

Whether it's a workplace event, a school activity, or a community gathering, we encourage everyone to dress up in their jolliest, most dazzling outfits. By participating in this event, you're not only bringing smiles but also contributing to DSAA - a charity that continues to be there for patients in need throughout the Christmas period. Join us in spreading the joy of the season, one costume at a time!

  4. Hold a Christmas Fair

'Tis the season for sharing, caring and celebrating. Why not turn your holiday celebration into a meaningful event? Host a Christmas Fair in aid of your local air ambulance charity and make it an occasion to remember.

Your Christmas Fair can be a blend of local vendors, crafts, games and festive treats. By organising this event, you're not only creating a memorable day for your community but also supporting DSAA’s life-saving mission. It's a fantastic way to combine festivities with a local cause and make a difference this holiday season. Join us in spreading joy and hope at your very own Christmas Fair.

  5. Organise a Festive Bake Sale

Tap into the culinary talents of your community by hosting a Festive Bake Sale. Volunteers can bake and donate an array of festive treats, from cookies to cakes and pies.
