Amazon Smile

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. The difference is that when customers shop through the URL smile.amazon.co.uk, AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

How does AmazonSmile work?

In order to browse or shop through AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organisation. Once they have chosen their charity, they can shop the site as they normally would. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of the customer’s eligible purchases. Only purchases made through AmazonSmile are eligible to generate donations.

Here’s how to do it

  • Sign in to your Amazon account via AmazonSmile
  • Search for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance in the Charity search bar
  • Shop through AmazonSmile as you would normally through the main Amazon website and raise funds for DSAA!

How does it work?

Then, package your items securely, seal the box and use Ziffit's free courier or drop off service. Simply either drop off your items at a local Collect+ store, or if your package is over 5kg, you can use their free DPD courier collection service.

Your donation will then be paid to us via a secure payment through our charity account on Virgin Money Giving.
