Anna Melland Davis

As you may be aware, I am diabetic and recently had two fractures, my ankle and a follow up Op for my right elbow. The pain and recovery was wearing but I am healing well and to improve my general wellbeing I wanted to take some positive action - steps if you will.I have decided to take 1,000,000 steps and support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance by doing this and asking for sponsorship, whatever you feel you can offer. It really does all help whether for replacing consumable medical epuipment, maintaining the helicopters, additional training for crews as new methodology comes through, it is all essential and without it, critically injured people would stand little if any chance of survival.
I used to work for another ambulance service and am very aware that the only reason Air Ambulance exists is with donations. I already give blood and have done for years, I am a first aider and now I want to physically help myself with sponsorship encouragement, and hopefully supportive messages! Through these million steps, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance will also be supported
I intend to start on 1st July 2018 and ideally will do 10,000 steps per day but I am also realistic as I have a desk job and so if I do less any particular day, am not going to beat myself up over it...but I WILL do 1,000,000 steps and will be logging it all on my Fitbit and will give regular updates . Thank you for choosing to support me 😊
