We are delighted to announce that this year’s Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge will take place on Sunday 15th May 2022. Will you take on the challenge and raise vital funds for our life-saving charity?

Once again, we are limiting the number of cyclists to 600, with the option of taking part in two different routes and distances:

  • 55 miles - commencing at Watchet Harbour (Watchet) and finishing at Station Yard Car Park in West Bay.
  • 11 miles - commencing at Royal Oak Pub (Drimpton) and also finishing in West Bay.

As this is our only charity-run fundraising event, we are strongly encouraging those who are fortunate to have gained a place, to raise additional funds through sponsorship.

Because our Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge is designed to be a challenge and not a race, there is no pressure on those who are amateur or occasional cyclists; it attracts cyclists of all ages and abilities. Pitstops situated at various locations along the route, will once again provide a well-earned rest and refreshments for the cyclists who take part.

With the support of West Somerset and West Dorset District Councils, Avon and Somerset and Dorset Police, we pride ourselves on offering an event which is registered and insured with British Cycling.

By completing this application process, you are agreeing that each entrant added by you will agree to abide by the event terms and conditions.

Sorry - Registration for our Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge 2022 is now closed!

Keep an eye on our website for more information about next year's event.

Warmest regards,

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
