Terms and Conditions

Please make sure that you read through the Terms and Conditions.

It is imperative that these are adhered to, to ensure a safe and happy event for all. 

In line with Point 4 (F) of our Terms and Conditions, participants must ensure they are physically and mentally capable to taking part in this challenge, at the point of entry and on the day of the event.


Route

The route will be well signposted - follow the yellow signs with black arrows showing the ‘DSAA’ logo.

A map of the route will be available to download/access soon.

Health and Safety

Participants are fully responsible for their actions whilst attending the event. This includes before, during and after the challenge itself. DSAA does not accept responsibility for the actions of participants nor the consequences of any such actions.

    Parking

    Please ensure that any car being parked on the day of the challenge is parked legally at the designated parking area at the airfield.

    Event Day Check In

    An event day registration wrist band will be posted to you prior to the event. Further information about the registration process and confirmation for when you will receive this, will be confirmed within our email communications to participants.

    Please note: It's important to make sure that you bring your wrist band with you on the day of the event.


    Sponsorship and Online Fundraising Pages 

    As this is a fundraising event, we strongly encourage all participants to raise a minimum of £25 through sponsorship. 

    For those seeking to gain sponsorship on a face to face basis, you can download our Sponsorship Form

    Supporters can set up their own fundraising page on our website to raise funds for the Charity online. This is hugely beneficial to the Charity as we pay no commission fees to third party fundraising websites.

    With easy step by step instructions, you can set up your own fundraising page, personalise it and then promote it.

    Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance receives no direct funding from the Government and relies on the generosity of the public for support. Their operational costs are over £5 million a year and each life-saving mission costs approximately £3,000!
