How To Help Join our Save a Life Challenge Join our Save a Life Challenge We are delighted to announce our latest campaign, “Save a Life Challenge”! Could you help to raise the cost of one life-saving mission? How many lives could you help us save as a collective? Save a Life Challenge gives everyone the opportunity to be involved in something extra special as part of our 20th Anniversary! WHY JOIN OUR SAVE A LIFE CHALLENGE? Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is proud to have been there for our patients for the last 20 years, can you help us to be there for the next 20 years? Patients’ lives depend on us being there, with YOUR support, we CAN be there for more in the future. All donations raised as part of this campaign will be added to our grand total. To kick-start the campaign, Maisie Sheridan, one of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’s patients has co-written and recorded a song called ‘Flying Heroes’. She has attracted the help of local Singer/Songwriter Ed Hintze and Producer David Payne to create the song and Harbour Media to produce the accompanying video, which has been launched on the anniversary of her road traffic accident. We hope that when people hear it, they will be inspired to pledge a donation in support of her song and our Save a Life Challenge via the donate button on this page, thank you. On 18th September 2016, Maisie was involved in a serious road traffic incident when she was hit by a camper van on her way to a dance class. DSAA came to Maisie's aid and after making a full recovery, she was determined to help others and do all that she can to support the charity. This is Maisie’s story… Maisie’s song ‘Flying Heroes’ is available to stream and download (for 99p) from all major music sites (Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, Apple Music) All proceeds from the streaming and digital sales of 'Flying Heroes' will be donated to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance for the period of one year from the date of release (18th September). WHAT IS THE SAVE A LIFE CHALLENGE?
