Sign up and Run in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance!

Following the highly successful inaugural event in 2017, Dorchester Town is hosting its second Marathon on 27th May 2018 with Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance once again the main beneficiary.

Nominated for a national award, both the Dorchester Marathon and Casterbridge Half have been nominated in the’ Best Newcomer’ category of the 2018 Running Awards. With this years’ event set to be bigger and better than ever, why not consider entering and running in aid of our Charity. The events are run on closed roads through parts of historic Dorchester and the surround villages. They are officially measured, certified by UK Athletics and run under UKA rules.

Race Village: Located at Cokers Frome Farm, just on the edge of town, by kind permission of Mr John Mayo and is the ideal location from which to explore Dorchester, the surrounding area, and the Dorset coast over the weekend. Facilities include: Hot showers, camping, catering with pre-bookable meals, market stalls, live entertainment, toilets, post-race party and a bar with local ales and cider.

Best Bling: Amazing medals and t-shirts for all finishers.
