Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge
Our annual Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge. Last year over 500 riders took to their bikes and raised a whopping £50,000 for the charity. More information and details of how to enter can be found on the front page of our website! |

RITS Day
Riders In The Sky was formed after Lee Baker was killed on 8th November 2010. Since then his family and friends have raised thousands of pounds for the Charity and this annual event is a cracker!
Taking place at Tor Leisure in Glastonbury this year’s event will include an Auction and Raffle, Live bands, a Children’s Circus Workshop, Children’s Rides and Face Painting. There will be a Storm Trooper appearance, Football, Darts and Skittles competitions, Interactive Salls and Car Displays.
Swoooosh that down with a Hog Roast, Cider Bar and Hot and cold refreshments and you have a day to remember!

Minterne House Plant Sale
Minterne House is holding a Plant Sale in aid of the Countryside Alliance and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Plants are being supplied by Hillier Nurseries, Minterne Gardens, The Gardens Group and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens to name a few. There will be over 10,000 quality plants available to buy at great prices!
You can also experience an exhibition of sculpture by Simon Gudgeon and Sculpture by the Lakes, wonderful walks around the lakes and gardens, craft stands and a demonstration by Longbow champion.
Delicious homemade food will also be available to purchase.
Entry on the day is £3 per person (Under 16’s are free!)
Minterne House is located on the A352 between Sherborne and Dorchester (Minterne House, Minterne Magna, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 7AU)

Shepton Mallet Town Crier Finals Night
What a great night this is going to be! Shepton Mallet are looking for a new Town Crier and tickets are available for the finals night which takes place at the Tim Pitman Concert on Friday 24th May at 7pm.
Tickets cost £3 (in advance only) and can be purchased from: Peppers, The Club Lounge, the Cobblers, The Farm Shop Kilver Court, T.I.C or Penns the Jewellers.

Bournemouth Rotary Swimathon 2013
The Rotary Club of Bournemouth is organising a Swimathon on Sat 25th May 2013 with the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance being one of the beneficiaries.Teams consist of up to six swimmers. Experienced swimmers or beginners who can swim a length (25 metres) can take part, as can children, (with parental permission.) You only need to be prepared to give up an hour of your time and get your friends to sponsor you and your team to enjoy this great challenge.
This event is being held at: Canford School Sports Centre, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3AD between 2 pm – 9 pm.
