Gill and Alistair Campbell launched their book of walks around Porlock and Exmoor more than five years ago.  Since then, over 1200 copies of "Porlock's Walks" has been sold, raising more than £2,500 for local charities.

The book highlights a variety of walks in the North Exmoor area and includes a variety of distances which range from a couple of hours to all day walks.

Gill and Alistair said, “Walkers will get some great views, enjoy the coast, the hills and the moor whilst seeing the wonderful wildlife it offers. We also visit some of the less well known places in the area like Blackford Dovecote and Mitcham Seat.  Every walk is updated each year; it is amazing how many changes happen during the year which is why we think it’s vital that visitors get accurate and up to date information.”

Gill and Alistair were thrilled to be able to present a cheque for £100 to DSAA volunteers Barbara Wilson and Diane Albutt at the Porlock Country Fair.
