Bring a Pound to Work with Wessex FM

BringapoundtoworkdayWessex FM (96 & 97.2FM) launched 'Bring a Pound to Work' this morning live on air.  The fundraising initiative is asking people to bring a pound to work or school on Tuesday 30th June to help raise funds for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Announced on James O'Neill's breakfast show just after 07.00am, the public heard from Tracy Bartram, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Communications Manager about how the money raised will make such a difference.  Kenn Duffield, the first patient airlifted by the charity back in March 2000 was also interviewed and explained how the charity saved his life just two weeks before the birth of his baby daughter.
