RITSIf you’re not sure what to do this bank holiday weekend, we have a selection of events taking place across Dorset and Somerset raising funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Long term supporters, Riders in the Sky (RITS) are holding their annual ride out and family fun day on Sunday 24th May from 10am until late at Tor Leisure in Glastonbury, Somerset. The event which is in memory of Lee Baker, who sadly lost his life to a motorbike accident, has raised over £35,000 since it started in 2011! The day will start with a 70 mile motorcycle ride out. From midday there will be fun for all of the family with attractions such as face painting, mascots, children’s tent, magicians, live music, auction, raffle, tug of war, car displays, refreshments and much, much more! You can visit their website HERE!

Also on Sunday 24th May between 11.00am – 4.00pm, Dunster Beach Holidays nr. Minehead are holding a charity fun day. There will be a ferris wheel, bucking bronco, teddy tombola, bouncy slide, craft fayre with local producers from Exmoor and surrounding areas, child's fairground ride, candy floss, face painting, children’s storyteller, children’s races, dog agility, donkey rides, beer tent, chilli, burgers and hot dogs! Mmm, what a treat!

Finally, The Kings Head in Bradpole, Dorset will be holding a car treasure hunt around the Bridport area on Sunday 24th May which will be followed by a BBQ, bouncy castle and live music in the evening.

There are more than likely to be additional events taking place across the two counties which we are unaware of. We hope the weather is kind for you all and send a big thank you for all your support!
