The Baker Arms at Child Okeford have raised £1,543 for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance at their annual Pheasant Fest. Pub goers were spoilt for choice with an all you can eat menu of local game dishes, with all game being supplied by local shoots from Ranston, Iwerne Minster and Modern Estates. They even held a raffle and auctioned off game pies, mmm yummy.

Over the last 6 years the event has raised £7000, this year was the last event run by Landlord and Landlady Jim and Caroline Dennett who have recently sold the pub. Jim and Caroline said: “Thank you to all the helpers, both before and during the event and of course to all the customers who supported the day." Jim and Caroline’s granddaughter Scarlet (pictured) was also on hand after the event to count the proceeds of the day, how sweet!
