Charity Cycle Ride

Not sure what to do with the family this summer? Want to get out of the house for a day of fun that will not cost you a fortune?

Wimborne and Ferndown Lions Club are holding a Family Charity Cycle Ride on the 28th June 2015. The event (which is not a race) will support 4 local charities (including Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance) and will set off from The Barley Mow Inn in Wimborne, Dorset between 10.30am – 11.30am. Riders of all ages will have the opportunity to explore all that the East Dorset countryside has to offer with a pleasant 15 mile ride finishing back at The Barley Mow Inn. Cycle goers will then be able to feed their appetite (additional cost) with a scrummy pig roast or barbeque depending on numbers, mmm yummy!

The cost for entry will be £10 for adults and £5 for children aged 16 and under. Included in the price are route marshals, medical support and a certificate for everyone who completes the cycle ride. Local businesses and individuals will also be donating prizes for the event and all participants will be entered into the prize draw at no extra cost!

So, what could be better than making the most of the great outdoors and raising money for charity at the same time! For further information and to sign up, please visit the organiser’s website: http://www.iley.20m.com/Cycle_Ride.html
