It’s a family affair!

The Eckersley FamilyWe recently hosted a visit at our Henstridge Airfield for two lovely groups who wanted to present cheques to the Charity.

The Eckersley family joined us after Suzanne Eckersley asked for donations to be given to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance rather than her receiving gifts for her 80th birthday. Family members travelled from as far afield as Canada, USA and Wales to join in the celebrations. They kindly presented us with a cheque for £500!

Everyone had a great time, learning about the operation of the Air Ambulance and how donations were being spent. They were fortunate to spend some time with our crew after they returned from attending an incident. A big thank you from us all!
